  • Reconnecting

    How long has it even been since I last wrote in a journal? It feels like it's been far too long, though it isn't as if anything dramatic happened. My time back at the island has been fruitful, to say the least. Business has been steady and my collection has slowly been growing larger. A few acquaintances have come and gone, but one I would have never expected has suddenly come back into my life...
    
    I speak of Magnas. I was excited when I smelled him on the island, but when I reached him I knew something was wrong. He was.. hurting. Not in the physical sense, but of the heart. I almost couldn't believe it when he told me of his separation from Eliotte. I had thought those two were really happy together, but it seems I missed a lot in the time between speaking to either of them. It hurt so much to see him like that, so.. I'll do whatever it takes to help ease the pain, to make him smile again like he used to.
    
    And to do that, we've decided to do what we once promised each other. To travel! When I left the island before, to ease my own pain and clear my head, I traveled the world and experienced so much. There's a lot I wish to show him and I think he'll enjoy himself. How long we'll be gone, I can't say, but I know we'll have fun and hopefully use this fresh start to grow as friends again.
